25/26 Term 4 (Apr - Jun) - Curious Explorers (6 - 7 Months)

For our curious explorers baby development class. (6 - 7 months old: September and October born babies)

Development of skills:

• For the visually active baby, more controlled reaching stimulates proximal and distal co-ordination.
  
  
• Rolling to the side, prone to supine and supine to prone helps with spine, pelvic and lower body mobility.  These transitions stimulate the vestibular, visual, proprioceptive and tactile systems influencing further motor development.
  
  
• Cross body awareness and upper and lower body dissociation sets the baby up for transitioning to quadruple position.

Wednesday classes (9 classes 75 mins)

• May: 6, 13, (No class on 20 May), 27
